The FIRAS scheme was established in 1994 and continues to be the leading certification body for companies installing passive and active fire protection systems. The FIRAS Rules and Regulations are now in their 18th edition and are continuously improved, made more robust and adaptable to industry and regulatory changes over time.

This training course teaches a basic knowledge of Health & Safety prior to personnel working on-site. The Client Contractor National Safety Group (CCNSG) offers a Safety Passport for the skills acquired in the 2-day course we provide.
We have achieved Alcumus SafeContractor accreditation. SafeContractor is an SSIP accreditation that collects and verifies information across health, safety, financial and ethical practices.

We are a Fit2Fit accredited RPE fit test provider and this service is led by our approved tester Wayne Schmidt. We have been certified in both qualitative (taste) and quantitative (APC) face fit testing procedures.

The environment agency has certified FIT as an upper-tier licensed waste carrier. This allows us to transport and sustainably dispose of waste produced by businesses other than ourselves.
This is used for our fire extinguisher maintenance service where we need to dispose of any expired fire suppression liquids/powders/foams as well as any old fire extinguishers that need replacing.

FAIB is an independent body dedicated to ensuring high-quality standards for first-aid training providers. FAIB approve, monitor and regulate training providers such as ourselves and any first aid qualifications provided through a FAIB certified provider are accepted by HSE, the Department for Education and Ofsted.
We are able to deliver a range of FAIB-approved first-aid training courses.
We are registered with Refcom, the UK’s market-leading F gas certification scheme. As a registered member we are able to partake in the installation, commissioning, decommissioning, repair, maintenance or servicing of stationary refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump equipment containing or is designed to contain certain
fluorinated greenhouse gases.
